Hey, I’m Mike T — Tallahassee photographer, proud dad, and the guy who’ll make your session feel nothing like a session. I’ve spent over a decade behind the lens capturing portraits, maternity and newborn milestones, and commercial work for brands and businesses across the country. My whole approach comes down to one thing: making you feel comfortable enough that the real you shows up in the frame.

I was born in Philadelphia, but Tallahassee raised me — my grandmother moved our family here when I was in kindergarten, and this city’s been home ever since. I’m self-taught, which means everything I know came from doing the work, learning from every shoot, and letting my clients’ reactions be my report card. Ten-plus years later, that work has been reposted by Chris Brown, featured by Calvin Klein, and trusted by clients like Dale Earnhardt Jr. Chevrolet, Sweet Face, FAMU, and FSU. I’ve shot everything from automotive campaigns to university banquets to newborns sleeping in their first hours of life.

Being a dad myself — my son is four — changed the way I show up for maternity and newborn clients especially. I know what it means to want those moments preserved right. I know how quickly they pass. And I know how much it matters that the person behind the camera makes you feel safe, not rushed, not judged — just seen.

Whether we shoot in your home or at one of two Tallahassee studios I work with, I bring the same energy every time: low pressure, good vibes, and photos that make people say “wait, that’s actually me?”
